2nd Annual Festival of Woods

Saturday August 20th, 2011

The Festival of Woods is an event where artisans and craftsman gather together to share the art of wood. Until the festival grows in size this event is really a family, friends and clients party by invitation only. If you are interested in attending please visit our Contact Page for details on how to get a hold of one of the Festival of Woods Coordinators and let us know.

Invite - Please RSVP

Walk down our tree lined lane, enter the meadow and enjoy the wood creations of imaginative artisans and craftsmen. Please come and join us in celebrating Man’s transformation of wood. You are invited to visit this private natural refuge along the southern shore of Mullett Lake, enjoy a little music, gather with the artists and honor the beauty of the wood.  Sooth your senses, relax, visit and sample the unique flavors of Northern Michigan.  This years event is a benefit for World Vision. We hope to see you at our gathering of Artists and Woodworkers. See and purchase woodcrafts and artisan created wood sculptures, lures, boomerangs, kayaks, turned and carved wood bowls, decoys and more. Come to play, listen to the music, enjoy some good food, new friends and old. Bring your wooden boats and enjoy Mullett Lake and Indian River. Profits and donations go to sponsor a gift to a village or family through World Vision;  some goats, a fish pond?
